Check out this latest look at the new tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort including photos from the Transportation & Ticket Center and a flyby video on the Walt Disney World Monorail.
The new tower can be seen peeking through some existing vegetation over by the resort's Aotearoa building.
From a less obstructed angle, the eastern side of the building is visible, showcasing some apparent wedge-shaped balconies connecting the two buildings (below.)
The western side features many villas which should have excellent views of the Magic Kingdom and its nightly fireworks performance.
Looking closer, some of the brown finishing elements have been applied to the face of the building, while steel framing of the new circular restaurant is being erected on the ground level.
On the upper floors, possible grand villas are taking shape, while plywood covers a decorative opening whose purpose is yet to be identified.
Excavation and plumbing installation continues on the site of the feature pool, roughly between the Fiji building and the new tower. Aotearoa is visible in the background.
Moving to a different location, here is a look at the building from aboard the EPCOT monorail.
And from the Transportation & Ticket Center monorail platform, the new tower somewhat blends into the existing buildings at the Polynesian resort.

Disney Vacation Club executives recently confirmed that the tower will be part of the existing condo association of Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, giving both current and future owners 11-month booking rights to the current Deluxe Studios and Bungalows, along with the new tower. The tower is expected to open sometime in late 2024.
