Direct prices are up for several key Disney Vacation Club destinations, but higher incentives available through early-April help offset much of the increase.
Disney's Riviera Resort
Prices for Disney's Riviera Resort and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas rose to $201 per point as projected in our prior report. At the same time, higher purchase incentives have helped negate the majority of the increase.
Now through April 8, 2021, additional incentives have helped maintain the line on current rates. Previously new buyers would pay $195 each for 300 points at Disney's Riviera Resort less a $20 per point incentive. While the base price has since risen to $201 per point, the incentive sits at $25 each through April 8, for a net price of $176 or just $1 more than the prior rate.
Current discounts for Riviera are as follows:
New Member Discounts
150-199 points: $14 off per point (drops to $6 after 4/8)
200-299 points: $21 ($11 after 4/8)
300-499 points: $25 ($15 after 4/8)
500-999 points: $30 ($20 after 4/8)
1000+ points: $35 ($25 after 4/8)
Existing Member Add-On Discounts
100-124 points: $4 off per point (drops to $2 after 4/8)
125-149 points: $8 ($4 after 4/8)
150-199 points: $19 ($11 after 4/8)
200-299 points: $26 ($16 after 4/8)
300-499 points: $30 ($20 after 4/8)
500-999 points: $35 ($25 after 4/8)
1000+ points: $40 ($30 after 4/8)
The above discounts are reductions from the stated base rate. A first-time buyer purchasing 200 points at Riviera would pay a net rate of $180 per point ($201 base -$21 incentive) through April 8, After that date the incentive for 200 points is reduced to $11, yielding a net rate of $190 per point. Closing costs and other fees may apply.
Discounts are also available for Aulani and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, albeit without the February - April bonus incentive:

Base rates are currently at $201 per point for Aulani and $220 for Copper Creek.
Modest discounts are available for older resorts like Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. However, older resorts are saddled with higher base rates including $245 per point for Bay Lake and $250 for Polynesian. Disney Cast Members and miliary personnel are eligible for additional savings.
