Disney Vacation Club is currently offering a "free vacation" in the form of one time use points with a new purchase or add-on at two properties.
New buyers at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas or Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can net themselves a "free vacation" in the form of 100 one time use points for a purchase of 150 or more vacation points. Those who purchase at least 175 points will also receive a Developer Credit, the value of which increases along with the size of the purchase.
A purchase of 200 points entitles the buyer to the 100 one time use points along with a Developer Credit of $2500. Disney Vacation Club values the one time use points at $15 each, bringing the total value of this incentive to $4000 or $20 each on a 200-point purchase.
The current base price is $176 per point and buyers must provide a down payment of at least 20% in order to take advantage of this offer. Other terms and conditions apply.
An alternative offer for new buyers foregoes the one time use points and relies strictly on a Developer Credit. The credit starts at $1000 for a 150-point purchase. A buyer of 200 points at either resort will receive a credit of $3150. A minimum of 10% down is required for this alternate promotion.
Current Disney Vacation Club members are eligible for slightly better promotions with the free vacation offer starting with a 125 point add-on and a $750 Developer Credit at 150 points. Incentives at the 200 point level are identical to new buyers with the 100 extra points and $2500 credit.
The straight Developer Credit offer for existing owners offers an $800 price reduction starting at 125 points.
