Disney Vacation Club's latest webcast is available for viewing through Saturday March 2. After viewing a short promotional video, all participants will receive a limited edition Disney lithograph and are presented with special promotional pricing on DVC point purchases.
The centerpiece of "Disney Vacation Club Discovered" is a 16 minute video hosted by Emily Henderson. The video aims to examine some of the "hidden gems" scattered throughout the Disney Vacation Club resorts. Highlights include a tour of a three bedroom beach cottage at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, the Carolwood Pacific Room at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and a look at the member photographs which line the walls of Olivia's at Disney's Old Key West Resort.
Along the way, even the most seasoned Disney fans are bound to come across a new bit of trivia, like the internal code name used when planning the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
Recent DVC sales activity--and promotional content--have largely focused on newer resorts like Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Aulani and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Fortunately this webcast only gives brief mention to those properties, allowing others to enjoy the spotlight.
The webcast promises special promotional pricing for additional point purchases. Current DVC members are eligible to receive 5-Day Park Hopper tickets for Walt Disney World with an add-on of 100 points or more. The number of tickets received varies depending upon the points added:
100-159 points: Two 5-Day Park Hoppers
160-219: Three 5-Day Park Hoppers
220-319: Four 5-Day Park Hoppers
320+ points: Five 5-Day Park Hoppers
As expected, these offers are valid with an add-on at Animal Kingdom Villas and Aulani. However, somewhat surprisingly the promotion is also valid for add-ons at Bay Lake Tower and Disney's BoardWalk Villas. The Park Hopper passes are offered in addition to special promotional pricing.
Fine print indicates that buyers who finance the purchase must make monthly payments exceeding a certain threshold before the tickets will be issued. A single 5-Day Park Hopper ticket is currently valued at $346.13.
New member offers may vary.
This offer is available only to those who register for--and view--the webcast. Registration is still open at http://www.disneyvacationclubwebevent.com. The promotional offers expire on March 19, 2013.
All participants will also receive an 11" x 14" lithograph designed by Don "Ducky" Williams exclusively for the webcast. The lithograph depicts Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy "relaxing and reminicing about recent stays at Disney Vacation Club resorts." The lithograph should arrive before May 1, 2013. No purchase is necessary.
