We're hearing from multiple sources that the base price for the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will rise from $120 to $130 per point on December 1, 2010.
File this under the heading of "rumor" for the moment but it appears ownership at the Bay Lake Tower will cost even more come December.
With new incentives introduced this week, it may be wise to give serious consideration to that purchase or add-on to avoid what could amount to an 8% bump in price. Current discounts of $12-18 per point at the upper end of what Disney Vacation Club has been known to offer, and it is very unlikely that those incentives will grow to $22 / $28 if this price increase occurs.
