Disney Vacation Club has unveiled a new "Castle to Castle" promotion which gives new buyers as many as EIGHT free Annual Passes--four at Walt Disney World and four at Disneyland--with a purchase of 160 or more points at The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. Current members are eligible to receive half as many free passes with an add-on purchase of 100 or more points.
Update: This offer also applies to purchases at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and the incentives get more attractive with a purchase of 220 or more points.
New members purchasing 160 or more points at the Animal Kingdom Villas or Grand Californian will receive 4 Annual Pass vourchers for Walt Disney World and 4 vouchers for Disneyland. The Walt Disney World vouchers have no expiration date and are valued at nearly $415 per adult AP when factoring in the DVC member discount ($520 retail value.) The Disneyland vouchers are good for a Premium Annual Pass with a current value over $400 per adult. Disneyland AP vouchers must be redeemed by June 30, 2011.
Under this offer the purchase is priced at $112 per point plus closing costs. The Annual Pass vouchers represent an incentive valued in excess of $3,200.
Purchases of 220 or more points will receive the eight Annual Pass vouchers as well as a $4 discount on the purchase price, bringing the cost down to $108 per point plus closing costs.
Current members can add 100 or more points at the Animal Kingdom Villas or Grand Californian and receive 2 Annual Pass vouchers for Walt Disney World and 2 vouchers for Disneyland. Points are priced at $112 each with no closing costs for add-on purchases.
Fine print on the offer stipulates that buyers who finance the purchase must remain current on their loan payments for up to 17 months before the Annual Pass vouchers will be awarded. The offer is scheduled to expire on January 31, 2010. Click HERE for additional details.
