Earlier this week we reported on the MouseSavers.com rumor that ticket prices are set to increase soon.  Now we appear to have stumbled across the new fees for DVC member annual passes.

MouseSavers.com is hearing rumors that Walt Disney World will raise ticket prices on Sunday, August 3, 2008.  Until a price increase takes effect, Annual Passes with the DVC discount may be purchased at current prices from DVCMember.com.

The last increase occurred back in August 2007.  At that time the prices of Annual Passes and Premium Annual Passes increased by 4-5%.

Disney has begun contacting Premium Annual Passholders regarding the pending closure of Pleasure Island.  As previously reported , guests will be able to use their Premium Annual Passes and "Waterparks, Fun and More" visits for rounds of golf at the 9-hole Disney's Oak Trail course. 

Pro-rated refunds will also be available.  The amount refuded will be based upon the amount of time remaining on the pass as of Pleasure Island's closing by September 27, 2008.

With the pending changes to Downtown Disney's Pleasure Island--and its effective removal as a benefit for Premium Annual Passes and some Magic Your Way tickets--Disney has compensated by adding rounds of golf at Disney's Oak Trail.
