For the first time since 2019, both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach will be open daily through the summer season. Disney Vacation Club owners can also save on tickets for Typhoon Lagoon's summer H2O Glow nights.
Walt Disney World has revealed that Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will be open simultaneously during summer 2025. Blizzard Beach is currently open daily, however Disney had previously announced plans for it to close on April 30 with Typhoon Lagoon opening on May 1st. The closure will be a brief one, as Blizzard Beach is set to reopen on May 21 and operate daily through September 7, 2025.
This is the first time both parks have been available to guests since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020.
Throughout 2025, Walt Disney World resort guests can take advantage of free admission to either Disney waterpark on their resort arrival day. This benefit extends to Disney Vacation Club owners and guests staying on DVC points. No reservations or other purchase is required. The free waterpark entry is reflected on guests My Disney Experience account for the day that they check-in at a qualifying Disney hotel.
This perk is currently scheduled to run through December 31, 2025. Disney has not announced whether or not it plans to continue this new resort benefit into 2026.
Disney has also announced dates for the summer 2025 edition of Typhoon Lagoon's H2O Glow nighttime events. Dates for 2025 include:
- May 23 and 31
- June 6, 13, 20 and 27
- July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29
- August 5, 13, 18, 25 and 31
- September 6 and 13
Similar to Disney Vacation Club's Moonlight Magic events, H2O Glow provides attendees with 3 hours of exclusive access to all of the waterpark's attractions, along with complimentary beverages and snacks, unique character meet opportunities, a DJ dance party and more.
Tickets for H2O Glow are priced at $42.50 for kids age 3-9 and $85 for adults age 10 and up. Disney Vacation Club owners can save $15 off adult admission. To purchase discounted tickets, visit the H2O Glow website and log in with the Disney user account linked to qualifying DVC membership.
