Guests staying at Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts will be able to enjoy extra time at Disney's Hollywood Studios this fall.
Walt Disney World has revealed that Extended Evening Hours are set to return to Disney's Hollywood Studios for at least 5 weeks in September and October 2023. The scheduled dates are:
- Saturday, September 30
- Thursday, October 5
- Wednesday, October 11
- Thursday, October 19
- Wednesday, October 25
Extended Evening Hours were introduced in October 2021 as part of Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary celebration. Guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts can enjoy 2 hours of additional theme park access on select nights after the parks have closed to the public. The perk is typically offered every week at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. This is the first time free late night hours have been provided at Hollywood Studios since December 2022.
While the additional hours are provided at no charge to qualifying guests, all park visitors must have valid admission in order to enter.
Most key theme park attractions are expected to be part of the late-night offerings including Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. It is not yet known if Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be operating during the additional hours.
It is also not known how this will impact the weekly Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Throughout the month of October, Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on no fewer than 18 nights. This separately-ticketed event extends the park's operating hours to at least midnight. Complete theme park operating schedules for late September and October should be released in the coming weeks.
