Cast Members will soon have an opportunity to preview Walt Disney World's newest attraction and Disney Vacation Club members may be next.
WDWMagic.com is reporting that Cast Member previews of Journey of Water Inspired by Moana are set to begin in just a couple of weeks. From July 25 through mid-August, Disney employees are invited to be among the first to experience this new attraction located in the World Nature area of EPCOT. The walk-through exhibit is described as a "self-guided outdoor trail where you can play and interact with water as it travels from the sky to the oceans and back again."
It is expected that previews will be extended to other select groups of guests including Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders. DVC owners have been offered a sneak peak of recent Walt Disney World attractions including Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON Lightcycle / Run. Previews are typically offered on a handful of select days with limited capacity and a requirement to register in advance. Owners must qualify for Membership Extras in order to partcipate.
Journey of Water Inspired by Moana officially has an opening window of "late 2023", however the timing of mid-summer previews suggest it may debut to the public much sooner than originally anticipated.
