Guests at Disney Vacation Club resorts located at Walt Disney World will be able to continue enjoying late night theme park hours through 2023.
In October 2021, Disney introduced Extended Evening Hours at its Florida theme parks. Each week, two of the parks have remained open 2 hours beyond normal operating hours exclusively for guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts. The perk was initially billed as a feature of Walt Dinsey World's 50th Anniversary celebration which officially ends in March 2023. This association cast some doubt on the future of the late night hours.
Today Disney revealed that Extended Evening Hours will remain in placed throughout the 2023 calendar year.
The schedule is announced approximately 2 months in advance along with all theme park operating hours. Most commonly, EPCOT late night hours occur on Monday evenings while Magic Kingdom is slated for Wednesday. However adjustments do occur like the occasional day when Disney's Hollywood Studios also offered late night access.
Eligible theme park guests can expect to have their MagicBands or MagicMobile app scanned periodically during the late hours to confirm eligibility. Theme park admission is required, but guests at Deluxe and DVC resorts can partake in the late hours at no additional cost.
