Guests wishing to dine at resort restaurants must first pass a brief temperature screening prior to entry. Using a contactless thermometer, Cast Members will check the temperature of all guests arriving at resort dining establishments. Temperatures must be under 100.4 in order to be granted entry. Those who test over the threshold will be given a few moments to recover from possible effects of the Florida weather before undergoing a rescreening. A second failure results in the guest and their entire traveling party being denied entry.

The same policy has been in force at Disney Springs and all four Walt Disney World theme parks since their reopening. No screenings are performed as individuals enter hotel grounds.

The move is part of a series of COVID-19 preventive measures which also includes mandatory face masks in most public areas, increased sanitation and physical distancing between all parties.
