In what is arguably a long-overdue move, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts are now giving guests a way to purchase gift baskets, floral arrangements and other surprises in advance of their Disney resort vacations. With the Disney Gift Services program, purchases can be made for guests' own vacations or even to help enhance someone else's stay.
Disney Gift Service enhancing celebration vacations
A growing number of Guests are seeking unique Disney gifts and experiences to help celebrate special moments in Disney Parks.
To simplify that search, the Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts are helping Guests pre-arrange everything from personalized in-room celebration packages to special in-Park experiences through the new Disney Gift Service. Whether Guests are planning surprises for their own trips or adding magical touches to someone else's, these unique gift options are turning vacations into over-the-top celebrations.
Some Guests, for example, are ordering personalized gift baskets or floral arrangements to be delivered to the celebrant's home or Resort hotel, while others are purchasing gift cards to surprise the recipient and cover the cost of anything from a special night of dining to a romantic fireworks cruise. The celebrant even receives the gift card with a personalized note of congratulations.
