A new feature as appeared on DVCmember.com as a tie-in with Disney's current "What Will You Celebrate?" campaign. Disney Vacation Club members are invited to specify any personal celebrations occurring during their upcoming stays.
When viewing upcoming vacations on the member website, owners will see a link to Enter Celebrations Information. This link redirects members to a page where they can enter their reservation number, last name, resort and check-in date. Once the stay is verified, guests can specify the event (birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, reunion, first visit, etc.) and which members of their party are celebrating.
According to notes included with this new website feature, Disney will use guests Celebration information to " help you make your visit even more memorable."
To access this feature, log onto DVCMember.com and click on My Vacation Points (right-hand menu.) Then click View Vacation Details and look for the Enter Celebrations Information link.
