Two resorts whose operations were impacted by Hurricane Ian will reopen on Friday, September 30 while the third makes its return a few days later.
Cascade Cabin at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
The waterfront cabins of Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and bunglows of Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are set to reopen to guests on Friday, September 30. Meanwhile the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will return on Monday, October 3, 2022.
The storm caused minimal damage in the Walt Disney World area. All four Disney theme parks are scheduled to reopen on Friday, September 30, along with the Disney Springs shopping district and Fantasia Gardens Mini-Golf. Most enchanting extras will resume immediately, including Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party scheduled for September 30.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will resume "voyages" on October 1 and Disney's Typoon Lagoon waterpark is expected to reopen on October 2.
No reopening date has been announced for Disney's Ft. Wilderness Campground or Winter Summerland Miniature Golf.
