The official statement from Disney confirms "that new pass sales will become available in time for the start of the 50th anniversary celebration!" The event heralding Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary is set to begin on October 1st. Additional details will be made available later in August.

No word on whether there will be operational changes, price changes or whether Disney Vacation Club discounts will continue to be offered for the Florida passholder program.

The Disneyland passholder program has been revamped to a series of tiers ranging in price from $399 to $1399 per person. The lowest priced "Imagine Key" allows the "key holder" to hold two Park Pass reservations at a time, while being subject to extensive theme park blockout dates. Most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are unavailable, along with the majority of the summer and additonal holiday weeks. Imagine Key holders have access to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for fewer than 150 days for the 1-year period between September 2021 and August 2022.

Enchant Key and Believe Key gain additional Park Pass reservations and are subject to fewer blockout dates, albeit at higher prices.

Only the $1399 Dream Key holders will see zero blockout dates, free parking and the ability to hold six Park Pass reservations at a time.

Magic Key sales are due to begin on August 25, 2021. Charter members who purchase within the first 66 days will receive a commemorative pin, button and magnet. They will also have access to a limited time "experience" at Starcade in Tomorrowland
