With capacity impacted by COVID-19, Walt Disney World has still not resumed sales of Annual Passes or Tables in Wonderland discount cards.
Walt Disney World continues to limp forward with limited capacity--and perhaps even more limited demand--for its theme park and dining services. As such it is no real surprise that Disney hopes to maximize the amount of revenue it can squeeze from these venues. Sales of single and multi day theme park tickets resumed in early July. However, new Annual Pass purchases are still on hold with no indication of when guests may again purchase the valuable theme park admission.
Current Annual Passholders have been offered extensions or refunds to compensate for the COVID closure. But those hoping to purchase a new pass or even upgrade from Magic Your Way tickets are unable to do so.
Meanwhile, Disney has also suspended sales of the Tables in Wonderland discount card. Tables in Wonderland provides a 20% discount on most food and beverage purchases for a period of 1 year at a cost of $150.
Disney recently announced that current Tables in Wonderland cardholders would have their expiration date extended for 4 months beyond the date printed on the card. This applies to all memberships which were originally scheduled to expire March 2020 or later.
Disney's dining plans are also unavailable at this time.
Fortunately, most dining discounts offered to Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders remain in force. This includes savings of 10% or more at dozens of locations like Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, Le Cellier Steakhouse and Olivia's Cafe.
