Disney has revealed its schedule for the 2019 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.
Epcot's popular Food and Wine Festival will take place from August 29 to November 23, 2019. This marks the longest ever duration for the event, coming in just short of 3 months.
Meanwhile, the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays has been slightly shortened, running from November 29 through December 30.
Complete event details have not been disclosed, but they are expected to include the ususal assortment of international food booths. Highlights of the Food and Wine Festival include a variety of culinary and tasting sessions, along with the Eat to the Beat concert series. Festival of the Holidays features the nightly Candlelight Processional with its roster of celebrity narrators and the international storytellers featured at many World Showcase pavilions.
Disney Vacation Club members hoping to visit during either of these events should make their plans soon. The period from September through mid-January tends to be one of the most difficult times to book a DVC villa due to the popularity of these special events and relatively low nightly room cost.
