The "Escape to Walt's Wilderness" experience offers a guided tour of the wildlife and trails around the Florida property near these two popular resorts. The tour originates from the dock located at Disney's Contemporary Resort where participants will board a pontoon boat for a tour of Bay Lake and the surrounding area. A tour guide will entertain guests with stories of Walt Disney and his "Florida project" while highlighing the wildlife which populates the property.
Upon arrival at Fort Wilderness, guests are treated to a bonfire and picnic breakfast on the beach. Breakfast features egg fritatta, biscuits, cinnamon rolls and more.
After the meal, guests take part in an archery lesson followed by a tour of the Tri-Circle D Ranch.
The experience runs from 8am - 1pm and is offered two days per week. The cost is $109 plus tax per participant and it is open to ages 7 and older. For reservations call 407-WDW-PLAY.
