Disney Vacation Club last announced a price increase back in December 2017 with both Aulani and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins rising $6 per point to $182.  The new rate went into effect in January 2018.  In spite of the higher price, Copper Creek continues to sell at a brisk pace with half of its points declared into the timeshare association and nearly 1/3 already sold to owners.  With Disney’s Riviera Resort still about 18 months away from it’s estimated fall 2019 completion, another price increase would not be entirely surprising.  

 When do you think DVC will next raise the base price for points at Aulani and Copper Creek?

Disney Vacation Club Member Services will reportedly grant a once-in-a-lifetime exception to certain program rules or deadlines.  This exception is often referenced when owners miss their point banking deadline, yet DVC still allows them to bank unused points.  Other instances saw owners avoiding the Holding account restrictions following a late cancellation.   

 Has DVC ever granted you a "one time exception"?  If so, what were the circumstances?

Despite the published occupancy limits of Disney Vacation Club villas, opinions vary on what party size is actually appropriate for each room type.  Take Deluxe Studio villas for example.  Disney allows up to 4 adult guests plus one child under the age of 3 in a single room.  Most of these villas are outfitted with one queen size bed plus a full size sleeper sofa.   

 What is the maximum number of occupants with whom you would share a Deluxe Studio villa?

Disney's Old Key West Resort, the original Disney Vacation Club destination, is still one of the most sprawling of the timeshare properties.  With 4 separate pools, numerous bus stops and a distinct feel to its different areas, many long-time guests have developed a preference for one area or another.  Some prefer to be close to the action at the Hospitality House...others appreciate the water views of South Point...the pool complex at Turtle Pond can also be a draw.

In 2019, the Skyliner transportation system will link Epcot’s International Gateway to 4 Disney resorts including Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and the forthcoming Disney Vacation Club Riviera Resort, along with Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  While easier ways of moving around Disney property are typically embraced, some fear that increased traffic will ultimately hurt the Epcot resorts area.
