Disney has a reputation for trying to get the most bang for its buck when it comes to theme park operations.  Take holiday decorations, for example.  Decorations for Halloween and the fall season begin to appear around Labor Day, a good 8 weeks before Halloween itself.  As soon as November arrives the fall decor is replaced with Christmas decorations. With Christmas festivities extending into the first week of January, the holiday celebration lasts for 2 full months.

To some, being able to attend Mickey's No So Scary Halloween Party in mid September is a good thing.  Others enjoy viewing the Osborne Lights weeks before Thanksgiving.  But some of the lengthy holiday celebrations could also be labeled excessive.
