Unfortunately problems do occur in the Disney Vacation Club world. At times, members gain access to their villas later than promised, housekeeping and maintenance issues are encountered and other technical snafus can contribute to a lackluster experience. The most common response from DVC customer service is to refund a portion of the points used for the stay. In more extreme situations guests are relocated and occasionally given a villa upgrade in the process.
