Disney Vacation Club villas located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge will undergo a soft goods refurbishment from May to September 2025.
Nearly 200 rooms that make up Copper Creek Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge will reportedly be part of a 5-month refurbishment project in 2025. According to website WDW News Today, the rooms will undergo a soft goods refurb from May to September. Projects of this nature bring updates to things like floor coverings, wall coverings, linens and decor. This type of refurbishment is scheduled to occur about 7 years after a DVC resort opens. The Copper Creek expansion debuted July 2017 when hundreds of Wilderness Lodge hotel rooms were converted to DVC villas. A more substantial hard goods refurbishment would follow approximately 7 years later around 2032.
The Copper Creek cabins were slated for a gradual refurbishment throughout 2024. Wilderness Lodge's other Disney Vacation Club component, Boulder Ridge Villas, was refurbished back in 2022-2023.
The Copper Creek refurbishment may include the addition of the popular pull-down sofabeds. Copper Creek was the last resort to not feature these units, which made their debut in 2019 with Disney's Riviera Resort. Villas at Copper Creek are somewhat smaller than other resorts due to their status as converted hotel rooms.
