Courtesy of Disney Files Magazine, Disney Vacation Club offers a preview of the new room decor for Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

After two years of delays, refurbishment work is finally under way at Boulder Ridge Villas. The latest issue of Disney Files Magazine provides an early look at what the renovated rooms will look like. The image above is the living space of a One or Two Bedroom villa with the new Innova pull-down sofabeds. A brightly colored area rug, curtains and artwork are also visible.
Travel posters above the dining table feature fictional destinations like "Whispering Canyon" and "Lake Elias" (after Walt Disney's middle name.)
The wilderness motif continues in the master bedroom with custom wallpaper, drapes and a colorful throw pillow.
The master bathroom includes an updated tub with new tile surround and a mural displaying Mickey and Minnie Mouse paddling in a canoe.
Deluxe Studio villas will also receive the new pull down beds with their own custom artwork on the inside and out.
And the pull-down sleeper for a 5th guest remains underneath the flat screen TV. A redesigned unit includes storage space and two pull-out stools to the right of the bed.
No specific timeline is provided for the renovations. Four rooms are currently being modified on the fourth and fifth floors of the resort. Work will occur in "waves" with the first set of rooms available by winter 2022. The full project is not set to wrap-up until spring 2023.
