Official details are now available regarding Disney Vacation Club's fourteenth timeshare resort including resort opening date, sales start date and a full points chart.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa
Disney has formally updated information on the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Point charts are now available with the 2017 chart indicating an anticipated opening date of July 17, 2017.
Sales will begin on March 8, 2017 for existing Disney Vacation Club members looking to add Copper Creek points to their ownership. Prices start at $176 per point, the same rate currently being charged for Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas. At launch, current DVC owners qualify for a $1000 discount off an add on of 150 points or more. The discount increases to $1750 for 175+ points and $3000 for 200 or more points. Higher incentives are available for larger purchases.
Sales to new buyers will open on April 5, 2017. Incentives for new members have not yet been revealed.
Annual dues start at $7.33 per point for 2017.
Guest room details indicate lower villa occupancy levels than recent resorts. Absent are the Murphy Beds and twin sleeper chairs that have become so popular. Deluxe Studio villas will only sleep 4 guests with a queen size bed and full sleeper sofa. According to promotional materials, Deluxe Studio rooms will feature either a tub/shower combo OR a walk-in rain shower.
Studio villas are also equipped with a kitchenette and private patio or balcony.
Deluxe Studio Villa
One Bedroom villas are also limited to four with a king bed and queen sleeper sofa. The One Bedroom includes a full kitchen plus dining area to accommodate at least six. The villa has a full washer & dryer plus balcony or patio. The master bathroom features a bubble jet tub and walk-in shower.
One Bedroom Villa
Two Bedroom Villas and Cascade Cabins sleep a maximum of 8 with all of the amenities of a One Bedroom villa + Deluxe Studio villa combined.
Two Bedroom Villa
Three Bedroom Grand Villas will accommodate 12 guests via one king size bed, four queen beds and.a queen sleeper sofa. The room includes a full kitchen and a dining table for 12 plus additional seating at the kitchen island. There are three full bathrooms with the master bath including an in-mirror TV. Laundry facilities and private balconies are also featured.
Copper Creek Grand Villa
The cabins, in particular, are equipped with rather unique sleeping accommodations. The master bedroom is home to a king-size bed. A second bedroom contains one queen bed and a pull down twin sleeper. And the living room has a queen sleeper sofa and a twin sleeper chair.
The cabins feature two full bathrooms, a kitchen and dining facilities, a two-sided stone fireplace and a deck with picnic table and private hot tub.
