With the pending opening of the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney has implemented some changes to the routes of the boats servicing both Saratoga Springs and Disney's Old Key West Resort.

Website Allears.net has posted some new images of the Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas.  Included are several exterior villa details such as the elevated porch, barbeque grill and villa walk-up.  Also featured are two shots of the pool being added to the Treehouse Villa area.

With five bus stops already in use at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and two more slated for the nearby Treehouse Villas, it has been unclear exactly how Disney plans to provide service to each of these locations.  Now we have the scoop. 

Website About.com has posted some photos of the new Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas (link.)  Included are work-in-progress imagesof the building interiors and several balcony shots highlighing the proximity of some villas to the Sassagoula River. 

The Treehouse Villas are still under contruction and the finished product is subject to change.  The units are available for member stays beginning on June 1, 2009.

Initially scheduled to run through March 27, refurbishment work at Saratoga Springs' High Rock Spring pool has been extended to run through March 30, 2009.  During the refurbishment all Saratoga Springs guests are welcome to use any of the three Leisure Pool at the resort, or pool hop to Disney's Old Key West Resort.  Disney Vacation Club members can also pool hop to other eligible resort pools. 

The poolside activity program at Saratoga Springs has been shifted to another location and will continue during the refurbishment.  Contact the resort's front desk for details.
