The Disney Vacation Club resort will undergo a phased renovation with all units updated over the next seven months.
Disney has confirmed the refurbishment timeline for the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. Units will be updated now through mid-September 2026. Villas will be removed from service in groups, until all 60 treehouses are updated. Throughout the project, work may be visible to guests during daytime hours.
This is the first major refurbishment of the Treehouse Villas since their debut in 2009. Each of the treehouses is a free-standing building with three private bedrooms--one with bunk beds--sleeping up to 9 guests. There is no word on what sort of updates are planned for the treehouses. Extensive changes to furniture, flooring, appliances and decor are typical for this type of refurbishment.
Permits were for the work were filed back in December 2025. Wooden decks attached to each villa were updated back in early 2024.
The Treehouse Villas are part of the Saratoga Springs condominium association. Owners at Saratoga Springs have 11-month booking rights for these unique accommodations.
