Back in March the Disney Vacation Club elected to remove glassware from all studio villas due to concerns regarding the ability to properly clean items between guests. The move was partially reversed days later when glasses were put back all villas except those at Disney's Old Key West and Saratoga Springs resorts. At the time DVC said they were researching the possibility of placing commercial glass washers throughout these two resorts. Now it appears DVC is poised to make good on that commitment.
Last week Buena Vista Contruction Company filed several permits with Orange County to "provide plumbing hook up for glass washing machine." The property location for the installation is Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. Multiple permits have been filed, corresponding to each of the neighborhoods at Saratoga Springs.
