Guests headed to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios from resorts serviced by Disney's Skyliner--including Disney's Riviera Resort--will have to plan carefully if they wish to use bus transportation.
A report on www.kennythepirate.com indicates that buses are now running between Skyliner resorts, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios just one time per hour.
The report includes a photo of a sign placed at Disney's Pop Century Resort which reads as follows:
Beginning Sunday, January 5, 2020
Buses traveling to Disney's Hollywood Studios & Epcot will depart once per hour
Please use the Disney Skyliner for convenient transportation to these locations
The report indicates that the same policy has also been implemented at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort.
Additional buses will be added if the Skyliner is forced to close due to mechanical or weather-related issues. Routes to other destinations including Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs and Disney's Animal Kingdom continue to run about every 20 minutes.
Guests can track approximate bus departure times using the My Disney Experience smartphone app.
