This week, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort debuted a variety of new facilities and dining locations. Here is a sampling of coverage across the web.

In the spring of 2017, massive renovations got underway at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The work served a dual purpose: to provide a facelift to the 30 year old moderate resort and to pave the way for a new Disney Vacation Club property, Disney's Riviera Resort.
The first phase is nearing completion with the opening of a new check-in facility at Old Port Royale, new gift shop Calypso Trading Post and a variety of new dining options including Sebastian's Bistro, Centertown Market and Banana Cabana pool bar.
Allears.net has opening day photos from the new facilities while WDWMagic.com posted a lengthy video tour of the space (below).
DisneyFoodBlog.com posted its own video review of all three new dining venues (below).
And, of course, the official Disney Parks Blog published its own opening day writeup with photos.
WDWMagic also has a look at the updated resort map, a portion of which is displayed below.
When complete, this multi-resort complex around Barefoot Bay will be a smaller-scale version of the Crescent Lake resort area which includes Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and the Walt Disney World Dophin & Swan.
Disney's Riviera Resort, the fifteenth Disney Vacation Club property, will be situated near the top of the Caribbean Beach map displayed above. Dining and other amenities at Caribbean Beach will be easily accessible by Riviera guests, along with the Skyliner system which will have stations for both resorts.
Disney's Riviera Resort is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019.
