Throughout May 2009 Disney will be refurbishing two of the leisure pools (aka quiet pools) at Disney's Old Key West Resort. Additionally one of the resort playgrounds will receive new equipment.
According to the current refurbishment schedule:
- The Miller's Road pool will be closed from May 4 to 15 to replace the tile on the pool and spa
- The Turtle Shack pool and spa will be closed from May 18 to 29 for a similar tile replacement project
- Also from May 18 to 29 Disney will be replacing the wood playground equipment in the Turtle Shack area
