Walt Disney World will begin offering spa services to guests for the first time since March 2020.
On January 26, 2022, the Grand Floridian Spa will resume offering a wide range of full-service spa treatments to Disney guests. Massages, exfoliation treatments, manicures and pedicures are just a few of the products which will be offered.
Specific health and safety guidelines have not been disclosed, though Disney does state: "we continue to keep the safety of our guests and cast members top of mind, and your experience may be different from your last visit."
Reservations are available now (link) for dates beginning January 26.
There is no word on a reopening for the spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or other locations around Walt Disney World including Salon by the Springs at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Both the Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs facilities had previously operated under the name "Senses." However, that moniker has apparently been replaced with the more straightforward Grand Floridian Spa.
As of this writing, the Disney Vacation Club website still lists a number of member discounts for spa locations including Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Among them are:
- 25% discount on spa treatments of 50 minutes or more
- 25% discount on all salon and nail services over $45
- 25% discount on fitness center treatments of 50 minutes or more
- 10% discount on all retail items
The site also lists a Spa Silver Service for Members which includes special add-on services (fee), special Disney Designs nail options, a complimentary glass of wine, beer, sparkling wine or non-alcoholic cider with 50 minute spa service and complimentary fresh-pressed coffee.
DVC member discounts are subject to change at any time.
