Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa gains another dining destination in mid-July.
Citricos at the Grand Floridian will officially reopen on July 15, 2021. The restaurant was one of many which had remained shuttered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dining reservations for the venue will be available starting on July 1st.
The "reimagined" restaurant will feature theming inspired by "Mary Poppins Returns." Patrons will dine "underneath the lovely London sky" with decor reminiscent of the Disney film.
The updated menu features appetizers like Sweet Corn Bisque with pickled fennel, popcorn, and fennel oil, and a colorful Strawberry Salad with chamomile-infused goat cheese, frisée lettuce, bacon vinaigrette and spiced sunflower seeds.
Among the new entrees are Butter-poached Florida Cobia with mashed fingerling potatoes and Guava Barbequed Short Ribs with aged cheddar creamy grits.
Dessert options include the Warm Apple Rose and Chocolate Torte. A selection of unique cocktails will also be available.
Elsewhere, Disney has also revealed that Casey's Corner on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom will reopen June 30. And Trail's End Restaurant at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort will reopen July 17 with a selection of family style skillets for breakfast and dinner.
