Several days ago, reports emerged that Ample Hills Creamery locations at Walt Disney World would not reopen. Since then signage has been removed from the exterior of the BoardWalk location and the proposed Disney Springs site has similarly lost any "coming soon" notices.
Ample Hills filed for bankruptcy back in March. The BoardWalk location has not reopened since Walt Disney World returned to operations following the COVID-19 closure.
Hand-dipped ice cream is still available at locations like the nearby Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, along with Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Haagen-Dazs at Disney Springs.
There is no word on what may fill the vacant space on Disney's BoardWalk.
