Via the official Disney Parks Blog, new information has been revealed regarding the BoardWalk's newest cocktail lounge.
According to the lounge's backstory, it once served as a gathering place for magicians, illusionists and magician's assistants. However, on one evening, all of the patrons mysteriously disappeared. Years later, the prestidigitators have begun to re-emerge via a variety of "enchanted" posters, magic mirrors and other "vintage props and tricks."
AbracadaBar will feature a number of interactive features similar to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, along with a unique themed cocktail menu.
AbracadaBar will occupy the space which was formerly home to Seashore Sweets', located between Flying Fish and Trattoria al Forno on Disney's BoardWalk. Flying Fish--which is currently closed for refurbishment--and AbracadaBar are expected to open by late summer 2016.
