Guest room renovations at Disney's Beach Club Villas are set to resume later this summer with a fall 2023 estimated completion date.
Disney Vacation Club has shared new information regarding the refurbishment project at Disney's Beach Club Villas. A soft goods refurbishment of all rooms was originally planned for January to April 2023. However after completing rooms on just 2 of the resort's 5 floors, the project was unexpectedly halted in February.
A revised timline now indicates that work will resume in August with completion targeted for October 2023.
Updates include modest changes to floor coverings, wall coverings and furnishings. Most notably, Deluxe Studio, One and Two Bedroom Villas will receive the pull-down Murphy Beds in living rooms.
Work has been completed on the interior of all guest rooms located on the resort's 4th and 5th floors. Hallways on those floors have also been updated with new paint and carpet. No information has been provided regarding reasons for the delay. However it has been suggested that production delays on the Murphy-style sofabeds may be a contributing factor.
