A report in today's Orlando Sentinel indicates that the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has granted approval to selling timeshare ownership in Disney's $110 million dollar expansion at the Contemporary Resort.  This 281-unit addition will reportedly be known as Kingdom Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Although there is no direct DVC tie-in, we simply must encourage fans of Disney's Contemporary Resort to check-out Travel Editor Mary Ellen Botter's wonderful article in The Dallas Morning News.

Earlier this week the Orlando Sentinel fanned the flames of a future DVC + Contemporary Resort marriage.  Now it's our turn to throw a log on the fire.

In a "Sentinel Exclusive", the Orlando daily declares "Disney likely building timeshares near Contemporary Resort."  Unfortunately the article doesn't quite rank up with the Sentinel's 1965 scoop "We Say:  'Mystery' Industry is Disney."  This particular piece does little more than recap information bandied-about the Internet for over a year now, while adding just a tiny bit of new information to the debate.
