Sales for the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort began yesterday with a Founding Members program exclusively for current DVC owners. New buyers will have to wait a couple more weeks to invest.
The first 1000 current Disney Vacation Club members to add 160 or more points at the Bay Lake Tower will have their names displayed on a plaque on the Tempo Fountain. According to posters on the DISBoards, as of Sunday night there were still slots available on that Founding Members list. Those interested shoudl act quickly to avoid being shut out.
DVC is giving current members a 2-week window to buy BLT points before sales open to the general public. Non-members can begin buying points at the Bay Lake Tower beginning on October 5, 2008.
