Another declaration of villas at Bay Lake Tower

Bay Lake Tower

On June 8, 2011, Disney Vacation Development declared additional villas for the Disney Vacation Club inventory at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

The newly-declared villas are located on the 15th and 16th floors and include two Grand Villas, three dedicated two-bedroom villas, and two lock-off two-bedroom villas.

With this latest declaration, 98.97% of Bay Lake Tower has now been declared for the DVC inventory.  On any given Use Day Members can book up to but not exceeding 98.97% of the resort using points.  This includes points that are traded out of the DVC system by Members for the Disney Cruise Line, Concierge Collection, RCI, and other exchanges.

Disney Vacation Development has now declared 264 two-bedroom villas and all 14 of Bay Lake Tower's Grand Villas.  The only part of Bay Lake Tower still undeclared are three two-bedroom villas located on the first floor which are currently being used as a temporary sales center and as model villas.   If DVD follows its past practices, it will need to convert the model villas and sales center into regular villas before it declares these villas for the DVC inventory.

The first Bay Lake Tower declaration was made on July 2, 2008.  Approximately 86.1% of the resort's 5,733,530 points have been sold as of May 31, 2011.

Disney has previously forewarned buyers that it expects the Bay Lake Tower to sell-out by the summer of 2011.
