The walkway which joins the Bay Lake Tower to the original Contemporary "A" frame building is temporarily closed.
According to a Disney Vacation Club source the closure is expected to last about a week. Until then guests must move between the two buildings via ground floor entrances.
No reasons were given for the closure beyond "routine maintenance." However, a guest currently staying at the Bay Lake Tower was told by a worker that they are resurfacing the walkway and there may be some enhancements to the security door--specifically they will reportedly address the ability to completely override the passlock by hitting the handicapped access button.
