Animal Kingdom Villas

More than six years after sales began, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas has finally been fully declared for the Disney Vacation Club inventory.

On July 26, 2013, the 33rd and final declaration for the Animal Kingdom Villas was filed with the Orange County Comptroller, adding a grand villa and 11 two-bedroom vacation homes to the DVC inventory.

Now that Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is fully declared for the DVC inventory, all of its accommodations  are available for DVC members to book using points.  Included are 46 dedicated studios, 390 two-bedroom vacation homes, and 22 grand villas. All of the dedicated studios are located at Jambo House, as are 82 two-bedroom vacation homes and six grand villas. Kidani Village features 308 two-bedroom vacation homes and 16 grand villas.

With 7,400,270 total points, Animal Kingdom Villas is the third largest DVC resort at Walt Disney World in terms of points. Only Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Old Key West Resort, with 14,031,570 points and 7,678,935 points, respectively, are larger. As of July 22, 2013, Disney Vacation Development has sold about 89.2% of Animal Kingdom Villas' total points, leaving approximately 649,000 points left that it can sell to the public.

The most common Use Year at Animal Kingdom Villas is the December Use Year with about 31.9% of the resort's total points. The February Use Year is a distant second with 13.9%. The least common Use Year is April with only 5.9% of Animal Kingdom Villas points. These percentages may change slightly because Disney Vacation Development has yet to assign a Use Year to 4.2% of the points.
