Disney has updated the names of two swimming features planned for the next Disney Vacation Club resort.
Back in June, a story was posted to the Disney Parks Blog outlining the pool facilities throughout Disney Lakeshore Lodge. Since then, the story was updated with new names for two of the features. The feature pool with zero entry and a winding water slide was originally referred to as Lakeside Lagoon. It has since been renamed Lakeshore Lagoon.

The resort's second pool, a tamer "leisure pool" layout, was to be named Perspective Pond. The Disney Parks Blog story now refers to it as Cypress Point.
Some of the naming confusion may stem from the resort plan itself. The project was originally announced as Reflections - a Disney Lakeside Lodge. Construction progress was halted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Work resumed in the Fall of 2024 under the new name Disney Lakeshore Lodge.

The forthcoming 900-room project includes an elaborate swimming complex perhaps second only to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts at Walt Disney World. Included are:
- Lakeshore Lagoon: Main feature pool
- Daydream River: Lazy river
- Heron Shores: Kids water play area
- Cypress Point: Leisure pool
- Otter Springs: Kids splash pad
The resort will be the the eighteenth Disney Vacation Club destination. It is expected to open sometime in the Summer of 2027.
