On Wednesday, February 25, Disney Vacation Club owners whose points reside at properties other than Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can begin securing reservations at the 13th DVC property.
Members who own points at resorts other than the Polynesian can book all arrival dates within 7 months. This effectively opens-up all arrival dates from the resort's April 1 opening through September 25, 2015.
Although DVC has previously accepted Polynesian reservations via telephone only, they claim that online reservations will debut on February 25th.
Online booking typically begins at 8:00am Eastern daily with Member Services opening for calls starting at 9:00am. However, DVC Member Services has been opening an hour earlier during the previous Polynesian booking start dates established for new resort opwners. Any members experiencing difficulties with DVCMember.com are advised to try calling Member Services.
Expect slow responses from the member website and potentially long telephone hold times due to high demand for the newest DVC destination.
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows offers Deluxe Studio Villas which sleep up to 5 guests with connecting rooms available (but not guaranteed.) Waterside bungalows which sleep up to 8 guests are also available.
