Villas at Disney's Grand Floridina Resort & Spa is preparing to add more than 200 new Disney Vacation Club villas, but those new members will have to wait a little longer to dine at one resort venue.
Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is set to close for refurbishment effective June 18, 2022. Work is expected to take several months to complete, with the restaurant reopening in late 2022.
The restaurant will continue accepting reservations through June 17.
During the closure, Citrico's will expand service to 7 days per week. Citricos is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Citricos was refurbished last year, reopening in July 2021 with newly-installed Mary Poppins theming. The Signature venue features American cuisine with selections that include Guava Barbecued Short Ribs, Butter-poached Florida Cobia and Oak-grilled Filet Mignon.
Disney has also committed to reopening the popular Victoria and Alberts at some point in 2022, but no date has yet been revealed.
Narcoossee's, located on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, features a menu consisting of primarily seafood dishes. No word on whether changes to the cuisine are planned.
