Individuals visiting Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa--both Disney Vacation Club members and hotel guests--will soon be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test resort in order to dine on property.

Disney has updated its health and safety guidelines for Aulani to reflect the a new restaurant use policy. Effective immediately, dining venues are open only to registered guests staying at the resort. Additionally, guests over the age of 12 must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or show proof of a negative test within the past 48 hours. The full policy reads as follows:

Effective Sept. 13, 2021, all Aulani Resort food & beverage outlets, including quick service and takeaway, will be restricted to resort guests only. Per City & County of Honolulu guidelines, we will require proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours for all guests ages 12 and older dining on property.

As stated, the policy applies to not only table service dining venues but also quick service and carry out locations.

The 48-hour timeframe could prove problematic to guests staying at the resort, forcing them to test multiple times in order to continue using the resort's dining venues.

As of this writing, facial coverings are required at all indoor areas of the resort. Certain resort amenities and services are still limited to comply with physical distancing recommendations and pandemic safety protocols.

Additional details regarding current safety protocols can be found at Aulani's Reopening & Important Updates page.
