Recreation
Main Pool
The "valley" located between the two main resort towers is known as the Waikolohe, which is Hawaiian for "mischievous water." Waikolohe features an 8,200 sq ft pool with a body slide. Meandering through the valley is the Waikolohe Stream, a tube
adventure which begins atop a slide that launches guests down the course.
The Menehune Bridge is a 2,200 sq ft children's interactive play area with a climbing structure, 3 slides and interactive water features.
Fourteen poolside cabanas are available for rental. Reservations are recommended. Cabanas feature a 32" flat panel TV, ceiling fan, furniture, fruit bowl, complimentary bottled water and facial misters. Private dining can be arranged for an additional fee.
Four whirlpool spas are available throughout the resort.
Quiet Pool
The Wailana Pool is a 1500 sq ft tension edge pool offering a leisurely alternative to Waikolohe.
Ka Maka Landing
Includes the Ka Maka Grotto, which has a misty grotto, an infinity edge pool overlooking Ko Olina Beach, and an after dark experience with thousands of glittering lights. The Ka Maka Landing also includes a whirlpool spa for families, overlooking the beach and Keiki Cove Splash Zone, designed for kids ages 5 and under.
Aunty's Beach House
"Aunty" is a Hawaiian legend and expert on the islands' history and culture. Aunty's Beach House is described as "a place of
fun...and discovery...and magic...where things are not always as they first appear."
The 5,200 sq ft activity center features activities for the entire family. Scheduled activities include treasure hunts, hula lessons and arts & crafts. Video games and Disney movies are also featured.
Menehune Adventure Trail
Small statues known as the Menehune are the focus of this resort-wide interactive adventure. A number of surprises can be found along the way including a work-in-progress canoe, deep lava tube and a missing turtle. Players are aided by local characters who help them along on their quest.
Laniwai spa
The Laniwai spa is an 18,000 sq ft facility featuring 15 treatment rooms, 10 salon stations and a 2,000 sq ft fitness center. Services offered include massages, body wraps, facials, manicure, pedicure and hair styling. Outdoor treatments will be offered

Transportation
Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is the most commonly used arrival point. Disney has no plans to provide transportation--complimentary or otherwise--to and from Aulani. Rental cars are available at the airport. An Alamo rental desk will be maintained on the 3rd floor of the Aulani resort.
Disney Vacation Club members and their guests can self-park up to two vehicles for free during their stay. Charges apply for valet parking and self parking by hotel guests.
O'ahu's city transportation system is named "TheBus." Fares are reasonable, routes are extensive and there are special visitor passes for multi-day uses. The nearest bus stop is approximately one mile away from Aulani.
