Following are a series of images captured several days ago from the balcony of a Jambo House Grand Villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.

Back in February 2007, Disney Vacation Club began offering points at the Animal Kingdom Villas.  Existing DVC members were given the first opportunity to purchase and those who purchased a certain amount of points were given "Founding Member" status.  Among the perks granted to the Founding Members is a personalized commemmorative plaque to display at home.

On August 24, Disney began accepting cash reservations for the Kidani Village development at Disney's Animal Kindgom Villas for check in dates after May 1, 2009.

While Kidani Village will largely play host to Disney Vacation Club members, Disney itself will also maintain ownership at the facility.  The Disney-owned points are used to offer rooms to the general public through normal channels (Disney Central Reservations, website, travel agents, etc.)  

Owners at the Animal Kingdom Villas are currently able to use points for booking stays 11 months in advance of their arrival date for check-ins after May 1st.  Owners at other DVC resorts can begin booking Kidani Village 7 months in advance of their arrival.
