The concierge level lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge & Villas - Jambo House finally has a reopening date.
Walt Disney World has revealed that the club lounge at Jambo House will reopen on August 26, 2021. This comes more than 17 months after the lounge closed due to COVID-19.
The Disney Vacation Club villas at Jambo House have been open since June 2020, including club-level rooms on the resort's 6th floor. However, despite DVC accepting reservations for the "Kilimanjaro Club Concierge" class of rooms, the lounge had yet to reopen. For the past year, DVC has been refunding the additional club-level points normally charged to members staying in these villas.
The concierge lounge offers complimentary light snacks and beverages throughout the day to guests staying in the 6th floor villas. There are only 10 Disney Vacation Club villas with access to these perks.
No other resort currently provides concierge services as part of the standard DVC points stay.
