Disney has a wide variety of events planned for its resorts and restaurants to accommodate guests looking to celebrate the arrival of 2020.
Details were previously released for the Mezzanotte at Topolino’s hosted at Disney's Riviera Resort. That is just one of a variety of New Year's Eve celebrations avaialble to Walt Disney World guests, many of them hosted at Disney Vacation Club resorts:
Disney's Contemporary Resort
- Elegant Evening Under the Stars at California Grill - dinner accompanied by a champaign toast, magician, portrait artist and "a few familiar [Disney] pals." The view of Magic Kingdom fireworks is also featured. Call for reservations.
- Countdown to Midnight: A New Year’s Celebration - hosted in the Fantasia Ballroom, the event features a variety of foods drawn from signature Disney restaurants including California Grill, Le Cellier Steakhouse and Narcoossee's, along with live music, photo opportunities and more. Fireworks viewing is provided in the resort Porte Cochere, along with a champaign toast. Reservations available online (LINK) or by calling.
- Ink & Paint Club - a pre-party add-on for the Countdown to Midnight, this receiption is inspired by the Ink and Paint Department at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Reservations available online (LINK) or by calling.
- Pixar Party: A New Year’s Celebration - second-level ballrooms at the Contemporary will receive a Pixar transformation. The party features a buffet with dishes like ratatouille, beef tenderloin and mac and cheese. Disney characters and a DJ will also be on hand, along with other fun activities. Disney's BoardWalk
- Countdown to 2020 at Atlantic Dance Hall - a live DJ, light food bites and a champaign toast at midnight highlight this BoardWalk event. A view of the Epcot fireworks is also provided. Booking details coming soon.
- New Year’s Eve at Flying Fish - two seatings (5:00pm and 8:30pm) are offered for this elegant prix fixe dinner at one of Walt Disney World's signature restaurants. Booking details coming soon.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- A New Year’s Eve Celebration - a waterside dinner at Narcoossee's. Early seatings will be available for those seeking a "casually elegant experience", while later seatings add a three-piece band and dance floor. Call for reservations.
- Victoria & Albert’s New Year’s Celebration - a champaign reception followed by degustation wine dinner, with musical accompaniment by a live harpist. Booking details coming soon.
Also available is a rooftop celebration at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood high above Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. The menu for Feliz Ano Nuevo: A New Year’s Eve Party features traditional Spanish cuisine with musical accompaniment by a flamenco guitarist. A DJ will entertain guests in the Dahlia Lounge, while its balcony provides views of Walt Disney World fireworks displays.
