Mears Connect Pricing, Reservations Available for 2022

WDW Transportation News

Pricing and service details are now available for the Disney's Magical Express replacement set to launch on January 1, 2022.

Disney's Magical Express

Since the introduction of Disney's Magical Express, Mears Transportation has acted as subcontractor, operating the buses which carry guests from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World hotels.

Following Disney's announcement that Magical Express would end on December 31, 2021, Mears committed to fill the void, offering a comparable transportation option to Disney guests. Mears has since finalized details for its "Mears Connect" product, offering two levels of service for guests to choose from: Standard and Premium.

Standard service features shared transportation on a bus or van. Guests can expect wait time of 20 minutes or less from their check-in at the Mears reception area to departure. Standard services are priced at $16 per adult / $13.50 per child for one-way transportation to or from Orlando International Airport. Round trip service is available for $32 per adult / $27 per child.

Premium service offers a dedicated vehicle with "limited to no wait time." Rates begin at $200 for round trip service with up to 4 passengers. Additional passengers are priced at $55 each.

Mears' vehicles will comply with the latest local, state, federal and CDC health and safety measures. Surge pricing will not be employed, and rates include all applicable tolls and surcharges.

Similar to Disney's Magical Express, each Disney resort will feature a dedicated pick-up location. Guests will be assigned an airport pick-up time of approximately 3 hours in advance for domestic travel and 4 hours for international.

The Mears Connect boarding location at Orlando International Airport is on the B side of the terminal on level 1.
